Before You Begin
Write down the phone number your business line currently forwards to (usually your cell phone). You'll need this in Step 4 so QuikSMS can forward calls back to you when needed.
Set Up Call Forwarding
Forward missed calls to QuikSMS in 4 steps
Find Your Carrier's Code
Search Google for: [Your Carrier] conditional call forwarding code
Look for "busy/no answer" forwarding codes (not "all calls")
Dial the Code
From your business phone (not cell), dial the forwarding code followed by your QuikSMS number.
Common Examples:
*71[number] *94[number]# + *92[number]# Wait for confirmation tone before hanging up!
Test Your Setup
- From a different phone, call your business line
- Let it ring (don't answer)
- QuikSMS will pick up and greet the caller
Configure Your Forwarding Number
Go to the Workspace tab and set your Forwarding Number to the number you wrote down earlier. This is where QuikSMS will send calls after screening.
